HANNOVER, Germany (AVING Special Report on 'CeBIT 2008')ASUS unveiled its new 8.9-inch wide notebook pc 'Eee PC 900' during CeBIT 2008, which differs from its 7-inch predecessor model in that both it is equipped with wide screen and a speaker is moved next to USB slot on the left side.
The Eee PC 900 incorporated two modes of operation system: Linux and Windows XP, and each model adopted 12GB SSD and 8GB SSD respectively.
Meanwhile, ASUS rolled out its new Windows version of a 7-inch Eee PC at this show. The EeePC 900 is expected to be available in 2Q, 2008 for 399(EUR).
